QUICK START GUIDE: Joining made easy

Thank you for taking the time to check us out. This is a guide to help you navigate around the site, find what you need, and make the application process as easy as possible. To do that, we will give you a list of important pages that you may need, with the links embedded in them. Click on the words and it will take you right to the page you need. If you have any questions at any time, please feel free to ask them in the cbox at the left of your screen. There is usually someone around who will be more than happy to help. If no one is around you can click the staff member buttons and send us a Personal Message.


The Setting: This is where you will find the core story that sets the stage for Dark Renaissance.


Questions about the Setting?: A quick FAQ to answer any questions you may have so you don't need to go searching.


Want more Info about the Setting?: Here you will find all of the threads devoted to explaining the Setting World.


The Races: A list of the races we currently have in the story. Can't find the race you want? Submit a write up of the race to the Staff Help Section and help enrich the story.


The Staff: Still have some questions? Here is a who's who of staff members and what their specialties are. You can feel free to ask any question to any staff member (They are a GREAT team).


The Rules: A necessary evil. We kept them simple. Just respect your fellow writers and they will respect you. Remember that and you'll be fine...... you still have to look them over though.


Want to Join?: All you need to register is an email address and the name of the character you want to make.


Character Application Form: We here at DR know how tedious the application process is, so we kept it simple and easy. You'll find the application here.



Plotting Board: Looking for a story or want to start one? Check out our Plotting Board. Here you can post any story ideas, and see the ideas of others. Take a look. You may find something you like. We have many talented writers here.
