We know navigating a site of this magnitude can be headache making, if you're having some trouble trying to decide what would be the best fit for you or what would get the most stories perhaps you could consider the Groups and Factions already present on the site that need more characters to achieve their plots.

Factions:

The Divine Collective
The Terran Guard
The Blood Rose Clan
Nox Sanguis - Please contact Donnica Talos
The Metahuman Crime Division - Please contact Jack Connors


Races:

HUMANS! (Preferably non powered humans)
Avians
Dwarves

And when all else fails, feel free to check out the Canons section of the Site. These are pre-filled outlines just waiting for a player to pick them up and turn them into a full fledged character. These are usually concepts the factions have created and need for their current plots. They have story lines ready to go that would get you involved in the site faster.
