Appearance:
Solis is the often the girl your eyes skim over at a bar. She stands neither short enough to peak curiosity, or tall enough to pull attention to, and by all means her features are nothing to write poems about. Do not let her average appearance surprise you. Much more is beneath the golden skin and hazel eyes of this woman. Her deep brown hair often sits in a messy bun, framing full lips and a slight sly smile. While often modestly dressed, underneath lies a curvaceous figure that would set most hearts on fire. She favors button downs, trousers, and high stilettos while at work, and also has an array of tight jeans and colorful blouses for the evening. She never leaves her condo without a splash of eye shadow and lip balm. Hidden underneath her her clothes, lies a tattoo of an infinity symbol, sitting perfectly between her shoulder blades.

Personality:
Solis Baez is a quiet, kind, and slightly humorous girl who loves dogs, sweets, and rock climbing. She likes recalling fond memories of her teenage years, but somehow they seem “foggy” at points. She knows some people around the condo where she lives, but has few true friends. Perhaps it is her awkward nature and unsure personality that keeps many people from getting close to her; perhaps it is that she does not know how to get close to people. Solis, or Sunny, has often been told how smart she is, and as so has earned her bachelors in molecular biology and anthropology. She is saving up money to apply and go into a doctoral program for epidemiology. Once knowledge is given to her, it takes very little for her to retain it. It is because of her skills at photogenic memory that spurns her questions into why she can not quite remember her childhood.

One of the closest secrets she keeps, is that she frequently has night terrors, and once has found her self sleep walking along the roof of her condo.

Abilities:Solis was born 100%human, and has lived her life in that respect since she can remember; truth be told, however, when she was young she was taken from her father and brought to Umbra. It was there in which they experimented with her in accordance to a side-project of Umbra's organization: form manipulation. Her body was tested on, and from the procedures she was given a partial cybernetic body (specifically, in her legs, right arm, brain, ribs, spine, and right hand.) It is an intricate web of optics and metal, and enables her body to move at a more rapid, stronger, and swifter pace; she can almost perfectly calculate and move to accommodate any height, speed, or jump distances. Since the implementation of the grafts, she has a quickened metabolism; conversely, if her body is placed in a sedative position for over 10 hours, the metal and muscles will begin to atrophy. She is forced to run or rock climb daily in order to keep her body from destroying itself.
She was also exposed to a number of DNA sequence strands in the hopes to create a mutated human. Such results of the procedures has provided her heightened night vision, a tolerance to heat and flame up to 350 degrees, skin that resists minor cuts and breaks, and severe migraines when at high altitudes or exposed to high-pitched tones. These migraines can leave her incapacitated for hours, if not days.

Skills:
Solis learns skills and tasks rapidly, and is also very hand-eye coordinated. Due to her advanced cyborg attributes, she is able to lift up to 225lbs with her right arm alone, and 134lbs with her left arm.She can run for up to an hour easily, but has never meet that time frame because she has never pushed herself. She can jump up to 9ft in the air, and when falling, can land without breaking her legs from a height of 55ft. In her spare time, she has also taken up fencing, and can land a very dangerous parry.

History:
Solis was born to a drunken mother and distant father who spent most of his time appeasing his wife instead of caring for his child. Her childhood was spent moving from one apartment to another, and is nothing of note until she turned the age of 12. He mother was diagnosed with liver failure, and her father began selling everything be owned to pay for her treatment. During this time, Umbra was recruiting orphans and impoverished children for their experiments during the war, and offered father a nice amount of money in exchange for his daughter. Her father acquiesced, and Solis was taken into the underground operational facility of Umbra.

They used her body to their purposes, placing things inside of her that would curdle a mother’s stomach. It was just after the procedure of their latest surgery in which the underground bunker of Umbra was attacked, and Solis was taken under the wing of an agent. He proceeded to wipe her mind and project falsified memories into her. She was brought to a safe hospital, which is where she awoke. She was informed that her mother and father had died in a car accident, and she was the only survivor. Left to her was a meager amount of money enough for a small condo. Her guardian, the agent, enrolled her in high school, and encouraged her to attend college. She now works at a medical lab doing minor research on poisonous animals, and frequents her parents’ graves often. She does not know that every memory before her 16th birthday, is false. She currently lives with Eva, her puppy of 2 years.
