Abilities:
As a messenger, Kali's training wasn't of the magical sort. She does have one self defense mechanism. She can absorb the light in a given area and then cause it to burst from her body in a wave of superheated blinding light. This wave will blast back anyone touching her, and potentially melt or catch fire to objects around her. The further out from her the wave gets, the weaker it gets till it dissipates entirely.

Skills:
Kali's flying skills are among the greatest the Avians have yet seen, her wingspan is shorter then most, but this gives her an agility and speed the others don't have. She can fly through smaller spaces and make sharper turns. She was also trained to fly with a bow and arrow and shoot it while flying. A feat mastered by very few. In the sky she is hard to match, but she can be fragile when grounded.

History:
Kali was born towards the end of the war. She remembers Enlightenment and the fall of her beloved city. In hopes that she could do some good, she enlisted in the messengers guild. Since then she has devoted her life to carrying the messages that might one day see Celestis restored.
