| • Sybil • Leto • Xatzopoulos • Name: Sybil Leto XatzopoulosNickname: Little Lunki, SybAge: 23Weight: 127lbs; Were: 348 lbsHeight: 5’7”; Were: 6’9”Eye color: Green; Were: Yellow (with vertical feline pupils)Hair color: Brown; Were: BlackRace: WerepantherResidence: LibriumNationality: AmericaAffiliation: UnaffiliatedOccupation: Bounty HunterFace Claim: Jennifer Lawrence• all in the details • Appearance: Sybil is more of a rough and tumble kind of girl, generally more in tune with the beast inside of her than the human that resides on the outside most days of the month. This is quite apparent by even the first look at her. Her long, brown hair is generally thrown back in a messy braid with loose strands falling into her light green eyes on a nearly constant basis. Her attire of choice is very basic and woodsy – dark colored leggings, an earth tone shirt under a jacket given to her by her mother, and supple leather boots.
More often than not, she can be seen with her bow and a quiver slung over her shoulder, and a smudge of dirt somewhere on her face. In addition to her bow, she generally keeps a few knives tucked within her belt and boots. Her favorite rope is always wrapped around her shoulder when she's working, or when she goes out to visit her mom.Personality: Having been raised in near-solitude, one would expect Sybil to be the epitome of xenophobia. This is quite the opposite, however. Sybil absolutely adores meeting new people and hearing their life stories. As pleasant as this characteristic is, however, it’s also her biggest flaw. She is so outgoing and thoroughly interested in other peoples’ lives that she can sometimes be more pushy than intended. It is not hard to coax a smile onto her lips, or persuade a laugh to escape her dainty throat.
She does have buttons, of course, and when pushed, she becomes quite a different person. The panther within her is quick to snarl when her mother is put in a bad light, as she is fiercely loyal to those she loves. When her father is mentioned, it’s not difficult to notice the growl of derision she chokes back. When hunting, she becomes more panther than human, whether she’s in the woods or within the city limits. Once she’s got the scent of her prey, she won’t hesitate to shoot, trap, or even pounce. Needless to say, since moving into the city, she’s had to increase her wardrobe considerably to make up for all the ruined outfits her predatory nature has wrought.Abilities:Heightened senses, speed, and strength: As a Werecreature, Sybil is naturally stronger than most humans. When in her Were form, that strength is increased tenfold.
Hunting: Raised in the wilds in order to avoid the worst of the war, Sybil was trained to track and kill her own food.Skills: Self-sufficient: Sybil is adept at surviving without the help of anyone else. She can hunt for her own food, keep herself warm, find water, and make her own shelter.
Climbing: As both a panther and an archer, Sybil prefers being above her foes. Whether it be trees, buildings, or even playground structures, she sometimes has issues resisting the urge to climb the obstacles around her.
Stealth: Sybil is very light on her feet. Even while in her massive Were form, her footsteps are barely audible.
Combat Skills: Sybil has been trained in many different combat techniques. This includes melee weapons, ranged weapons (primarily bow & arrow), and hand-to-hand (or tooth and nail when shifted).
Rope Work: Sybil can tie knots and set traps with the best of them. This gives her quite the edge in her bounty hunting.
Cartography: Although her writing can be compared to chicken scratch, her map-drawing skills are tip top. • the tale of a lifetime• History: Sybil was born human, into a world filled with turmoil. Her mother, Melanthe Xatzopoulos, a Werepanther POW, was raped while in captivity. She came to term while still held captive. After giving birth to a healthy human girl, Melanthe managed to escape her captors – with her baby. In an act of desperation, she bit Sybil in hopes of turning the infant so that if she were caught, the humans would not raise her daughter as their own to use against her kind. Much to her delight, when the next full moon came about, the infant Sybil sobbed and flailed as her form shifted to that of a tiny, black panther…
Taking refuge in the dense forests of Oregon, Melanthe was able to raise her daughter away from those who would harm them for what they were, as well as away from those who would recruit them for a cause she had no plan to fight for again. In truth, she was an utterly broken woman, whose only mission was to keep herself, and her daughter alive.
In the few years before Enlightenment, Melanthe trained Sybil in all of the aspects of Werepanther life. Over time, they slowly migrated from their home turf in Oregon, towards the east coast where Melanthe had grown up as a child. By the time they reached New York, Sybil’s extended family was long gone – dead or just moved, no one could give them solid answers. This new information (or rather, lack thereof) seemed to be the hay that finally broke the camel’s back. Sybil managed to get her mother back out into the wilderness before Enlightenment came about, but the damage had been done.
When the next full moon came about, mother and daughter shifted, as per usual. In the morning, Sybil returned to her human form, but her mother refused. Despite her love for her mother, Sybil couldn’t bear to stay with the woman – or rather, the panther – she’d become. And so, with a heavy heart, she left her mother there in the forests outside of the new city of Librium, choosing to try her hand at living amongst the people and creatures of the big city.Notes:As much as she loves the big city, Sybil is afflicted with claustrophobia. Lightning has a tendency to raise her hackles, but she can generally fight that fear, especially when on the hunt. Her favorite food is salmon, but she can usually be found with a stick of jerky hidden somewhere on her person.
Hidden beneath her clothes, her body is riddled with scars. She bears one on each hip, one on her right calf, and one over her heart. They are all identical, as they were all given to her by the same panther - her mother. In order to make sure the panther within took hold, she bit Sybil in multiple areas. Is this a Canon?: NoIs this your second character, and if so, who is your first?:Yes. Sabre Galweigh

| Just a head's up, Onyx... I forgot to mention her scar in the appearance section, so I'm going to add that. Doesn't really change anything, but I thought I'd let you know. =] |
